Key Air Adds the Revolutionary Dassault Falcon 7X to its Private Jet Charter FleetMay 19, 2015
Oxford, CT / May 19, 2015 / Key Air, a leading national provider of best-in-class aircraft management and worldwide executive jet charter services proudly announces the addition of a Dassault Falcon 7X to its Part 135 charter certificate, further expanding the company’s private jet charter fleet and service capabilities.
The newly added aircraft offers small-jet agility with the efficiency for long-range comfort and capability. The Falcon 7X has a max range of 5,950 statute miles with a .90 Mach Maximum Operating Speed (MMO). It can easily travel city pairs such as Paris-Tokyo, Shanghai-Seattle or New York-Saudi Arabia and can cover shorter distances faster than any other business aircraft in its class. The aircraft’s excellent nonstop range and unique ability to land at small airports allows better access to remote destinations. It can perform multiple short and long flights without having to refuel. This unique flexibility provides the aircraft with the ability to perform varied missions easily.
The Falcon 7X is the first business jet to use fighter jet technology with its Digital Flight Control System, yet is designed to provide an elegant, quiet executive cabin experience. It offers spacious and luxurious leather seating for up to 14 passengers. It also comes complete with a satellite phone and fax, airshow display and is Wi-Fi enabled. The fully-equipped galley includes a microwave, convection oven and espresso maker to easily accommodate lighter snacks or full-course meals. Its state-of-the-art entertainment system features DVD, CD and MP3 players, headphones, dual widescreen and two individual cabin monitors. Berthable seating allows for plenty of rest during long-distance flights with two separate and enclosed lavatories for freshening up before arrival.
“The addition of this pristine, high precision aircraft will benefit our operations and provide a great option for the discerning charter client”, said Alan DePeters, Key Air President and CEO. “We are extremely happy with the growth we have experienced to our managed aircraft fleet. Within the first five months of the year, Key Air has added four ultra-long-range aircraft to our charter certificate offering clients a broader range of charter aircraft to choose from. We look forward to continuing this momentum by providing unique, personalized services to the aircraft owner and to our clients who charter the aircraft.”
The Falcon 7X joins a list of ultra-long-range aircraft on Key Air’s charter certificate including the Global 5000, Gulfstream GV, G450 and GIVSPs. The impressive charter fleet also includes the Falcon 2000LX, 900EX, Challenger 604, Hawker 800XP and Learjet 45 aircraft.
